Artist Statement

I’m a commercial illustrator, motion and graphic designer working in Wellington. I would call myself a multimedia designer, with a strong foundation in traditional art and illustration.

Creative arts are a lifelong passion for me. Since childhood I aspired to work in the creative industry. Specifically Film, Games and Graphic novels. I wanted to become a Conceptual artist and create the worlds and characters for projects like films and games. I’m passionate about developing characters and telling their stories.

These desires lead me to embark on a degree in painting and sculpture which then lead to a graduate diploma in graphic design. I’m keen to bring to the table my story driven works to the world of design.

This led me to where I am now a motion design and animator.
